Growing up as a child, Bob showed an aptitude towards physics, and music. Two key influences that were to play an important role in his future.
At the age of 7, Bob began piano lessons, and within the space of 5 years had also learned to play guitar, bass guitar and drums. The latter of which were to become a key instrument to Bob, drumming and rhythm always being a natural aspect of Bob's musicianship.
Whilst growing up, Bob listened to a wide variety of music from classical through 60's rock 'n' roll, hard rock and electronic music. Bob's diverse interest in musical genres continues to this day, although Rock, Industrial and Electronic music persist in being staple elements of Bob's musical make-up.
Taking a love of electronics, Bob became ever more interested in the mechanical technicalities of sound and recorded music. This led to many experiments with tape recorders, microphones etc. And in time led to a three year university degree study into Music Technology.
Upon leaving university, Bob worked briefly for the Tussauds group as a theme park technician, working on sound and lighting systems as well as technical stage management.
However, inevitably, a move to London would be necessary in order to pursue further avenues into the music industry, and following a posting to Classic Sound ltd. Bob moved to London in the summer of 2003 where he since set up permanent residence.
