I've got some friends over from Oz right now. They have brought with them a cool piece of analogue mixer gear made in the Kling Klang studios.
Hope you get a decent price for your gear, you must be sad to see it go.

Oh wow, Ex-Kiling Klang! Would love to see that!

It will be sad to see it go. Reality dawns sadly, I need something more flexible for recording/gigging. Whilst it would be nice to keep it around I don't have the money or the space to just collect stuff anymore.

*snf*

What about your dream of MIDIing it up? I know, financial reality encroaches... But, damn.

I bought a Kenton Midi-CV converter. Whilst it worked perfectly, it was really messy. Made me realise that true analogue synths are actually not very practical!

As I said above, I'd love to hang on to it, in an ideal world. However, I'll be putting the money into a new synth. Specifically an Access Virus. Played one the other day and, again, it blew my mind.

Nah, Mak didn't give me the job! Bit pissed about that to be honest! I think he's trying to give Thom as much as he can before he goes back to NZ.
Asked me if I wanted to do Dynamite from 9-4 on Saturday. I politely declined! It's about the only thing I'm really reticent to do there. You KNOW how boring it is working that shift!

As for the MonoPoly, well, reserve is set at 300 quid and buy it now is at 400. Offer me anything in between, cash, and it's yours without hesitation!

ahhh i didnt think that thom was working tonight, he said he was going to come along to laugh at whoever was doing it ;) must have changed his mind. Shame, would have been good to catch up with you. Dont spose your doing live evil in 2 weeks time are you? if so excellent as i shall be working there then.

They offered me dynamite as well and i politely refused too. I did the last one just cos i needed the cash and it almost drove me mad. Its a pretty painful night to work, its amazing how slowly time goes if you have nothing to do at all.

Im not sure i have the cash for that right now but let me look into it, it would be nice.

Hey Tom.

Ha! Makes me feel a bit better for turning it down. Really, it's a fucking nasty night to work isn't it! It's just SO dull! Made worse by the fact that I've ususally got a bunch of friends having fun upstairs!

I could certainly use the work for Live Evil, if you see Mak, tell hin I'm in if he needs me, just give me a call. Always seems to be easy going if you or Thom are around. We got shit covered yo' ;)

Gimme a shout on the Korg if you want it. Auction ends in 7 days, come over and give it a try if you're interested.
